PD7:  NINE MOST POWERFUL STRATEGIES

What types of instructional strategies work best to improve student achievement?  Based on the books by Robert Marzano, What Works in Classroom Instruction, A Handbook for Classroom Instruction That Works, and Building Background Knowledge for Academic Achievement, participants will practice the key ideas related to the nine categories that have the highest probability of enhancing student achievement.  So come explore the "Nine most Powerful Strategies"  and ways to "Build Background Knowledge" that will improve student learning.
